69GW potential for hybrid power stations in US
According to a report on gtm: there are c.4.6GW of wind/gas/oil/solar power plants co-located with batteries in the US, with another 14.7GW in the immediate development pipeline and a further 69GW mooted. That’s a lot of capacity! Much of the focus for battery capacity is, of course, in California where almost two-thirds of solar projects are proposed as hybrids. In the US as a whole its only 25%.
