China’s cobalt ore imports collapse in March
China’s cobalt ores net imports collapsed in March, to their lowest level since 2013 when our records start. The recovery in cobalt prices in April tends to suggest that re-stocking took place but, given the re-start of Katanga shipments that’s due in the near future, we are a bit wary about the near-term outlook for cobalt prices.
