Australian spodcon exports up but still depressed
Australian spodcon exports bounced 50% m/m in May, but still haven’t cracked on to the levels one may have expected given the substantial expansion projects completed and underway at the moment. Depressed volumes in April-May are suggesting that Q2 reports may be in danger of disappointing. While we’ve already had warnings from Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN) about Wodgina and Mt Marion, unless volumes in June are huge, we suggest that operational results for many other producers may disappoint.
