Auto companies don’t think enough about raw materials
The reports coming out over the course of June about how auto companies are in a full panic over rare earths supply really boggle the mind. Apparently Ford has had to close one plant and is operating hand to mouth on REEs, and CLEPA (the European auto supplier association) also cites closures at several plants which have run out of supplies.
