Battery Materials financing activity down in May
May was a mixed month for fundraising in battery materials with a number of deals getting off the ground but not too much being raised. The Lithium sector saw the most funds raised or allocated at just under US$360m, but that was still low, and we saw very little raised in other segments, meaning that the total amount raised within the battery raw materials segment was only US$530m, the lowest monthly total since January.
