Battery Raw Materials: EU to ride to the rescue with huge stimulus package
Well, after talking about it for several months, it finally looks like the much-awaited stimulus package from the EU is on its way, and it looks like it’s going to have an extremely green tinge. While many commentators (us included) had speculated that any stimulus out of the EU was likely to have positive implications for the renewables and battery sector, now that looks certain to be the case. A leaked early draft of the stimulus package reportedly suggests setting aside €100bn for autos stimulus with €20bn going to clean cars over a period of two years.
