Big bounce in European EV sales in September
There was a substantial bounce in European EV sales in September, with sales up 56% m/m. While some of this was down to the lumpy nature of Tesla deliveries (41,500 vehicles delivered for the month), there was also an acceleration in non-Tesla sales. Given that consumer appetites have not changed, we posit that this is most likely a fleet demand event, and caution that it is most likely a one-off.
