Capital raisings up in 2021 but nowhere near enough; Need to raise US$42bn in 2021-22
According to BMR’s monthly Financing Tracker, US$5.2bn of funds have been raised in the battery materials sector in year-to-date 2021. That sounds like a lot, and it is. In fact, it’s 37% more than was raised in the space in the whole of 2019 and 2020 put together. The only problem is – it’s nowhere near enough.
