China to revert to graphite net export position?
China very nearly reverted to a flake graphite net export position in August as imports fell off a cliff. Imports were only 10.6Kt for the month, their lowest level since December, likely in response to Syrah Resources’ announced production cuts. It should return to a net export position in coming months given Syrah's planned production cuts to c.5Kt/month.
