Europe, China contribute to stellar EV growth
Europe and China both recorded a strong acceleration in EV sales in September, with European sales hitting a record of 160,000 units, pushing global EV sales to a record of 345,500 units. It’s the first time this year that China and Europe have been strong at the same time. European PEV sales are now annualising at well over 1.0m units and there is a view in the market that some auto OEMs might actually be hanging back.
