Europe had second-highest EV sale sin March
March was a strong month for EV volumes with Europe standing out beyond the US and China. Within Europe it was a strong month for Tesla with price cuts leading to huge deliveries of both the Model 3 and the Model Y. The Model Y in particular shifted nearly 47,000 units, giving it a 14% market share. While this was a standout month for Tesla in Europe, we caution against drawing any conclusions for the rest of the year, given that Tesla’s sales into Europe have been outstandingly lumpy over the last few years.
