Ford F150 Lightning blows socks off the competition
The electric version of Ford’s ubiquitous pick-up truck was a revelation for the market this month. Ford went right back to its mass-market roots, choosing a price point of US$39,974 which roundly undercuts its key competitors including the Tesla Cybertruck and the Lordstown Endurance. Given that Ford hasn’t utilised the bulk of its EV tax credits, that could bring the starting price down as low as US$32,500 for the basic variant.
