Global EV sales hit 4m
Cumulative passenger EV sales worldwide hit 4m units at the beginning of September. Bloomberg New Energy Finance forecasts that the market will hit the 5m sales level by March 2019, as sales accelerate. BNEF figures suggest that it took 17 months to go from the first to the second million sales milestone, and just six months to go from the third million to the fourth.
