Is silver the next battery raw material?
An analysis by a “retired investment professional” published on X (formerly Twitter) has got tongues wagging in the already-excited silver world about the impact of Samsung SDI’s new solid state battery technology on silver demand. The silver would be used in a silver-carbon composite which would be layered between the lithium metal anodes. But, to put it mildly, the numbers are rather racey.
