You don’t have to know too much about the Energy Transition to know that investment in Rare Earth Elements is a key focus currently, amid China’s dominance of production of a material that is vital to so many segments of the Transition. Rare Earth magnets used in electric motors are key components, both for Electric Vehicle engines, as well as Wind turbines. The United States, Europe, Japan and other Western countries have all eventually recognised the necessity of building out and controlling their own REE supply chains.
