July Financing Round-up: Capital raised down m/m
Funds raised in the battery raw materials space fell marginally m/m to US$2.0bn, with a big recovery in funds raised in the lithium segment, which hit US$930m, its highest level since January. July is normally a seasonally weak month for fundraisings so it was positive to see activity remain at elevated levels. The big question will be whether activity will continue to be robust in August, which is traditionally one of the weakest months of the year for fundraising activity.
