Kyocera to push ahead with world-first SemiSolid Lithium-Ion Battery
Japanese electronics manufacturer Kyocera (TYO:6971) has officially launched its Enerezza residential storage product, the first residential storage product to feature a semi-solid lithium-ion battery. The product will be available in 5, 10 and 15kWh models. Kyocera piloted the semi-solid manufacturing process alongside US start-up 24M in June 2019 but is now ready to go into commercial production and intends to go into mass production by Q4/20.
