Lithium stocks move too fast
Last month we said that we felt that lithium in general and lithium producers in particular were oversold. The market seemed to agree and lithium stocks were the strongest outperformers among the sectors we cover. The problem is that there has been no recovery in fundamentals and we don’t see one for some months. Lithium stocks moved too fast and we now believe there is potential for them to sell off again as reality sets in and lithium prices continue their inexorable march down to the marginal cost of production.
