Low grade nickel sulphide projects on a roll
There were three Canadian nickel resource upgrades in July of which the one by Canada Nickel stood out. Canada Nickel’s Crawford project now boasts a resource of 2.1Bt @ 0.24% nickel for a total contained resource of 5Mt of nickel, making it the fifth largest nickel sulphide resource globally. Considering its potential for low carbon (if not zero carbon) production, this makes it a highly-differentiated project, in our view. Elsewhere there was a notable upgrade for Tartisan Nickel’s Kenbridge project.
