More raised in Q1/21 than whole of 2019-20
More capital was raised in battery raw materials in Q1/21 than in the whole of 2019 and 2020 added together! Overall US$5.4bn was raised in the first quarter of this year, with 78% coming in the Lithium segment. While that looks great and is just what we have been calling for, it pales into insignificance compared to the US$21.4bn raised or allocated for electric vehicle developments during that time! While capital raised in the EV space continues to outpace that raised in the raw materials space by a factor of 4x we will continue to have a raw material supply...
