Record month for Gigafactory announcements
March was a record month for Gigafactory announcements with other 17 new projects announced and several upsized. While China still dominates in terms of planned capacity, Europe is catching up and North America is coming up fast on the inside. We can't help but feel that developers are still missing the point, however. On our battery factory capacity forecast we struggle to get more than 40% capacity utilisation by 2025, based on our current lithium supply forecasts. Log in for more information.
