Sedimentary and DLE brine are now majority of Li resources
The BMR global lithium resource tracker shows that ex-China, globally defined lithium resources reached 661Mt of LCE at the end of Q2/25. That was up 1.7% q/q and 18% y/y. (Thatโs understating total ex-China resource since we exclude companies that do not publish or do not define JORC or 43-101 compliant resources). The most rapid rate of growth continues to be in resources which are currently economically unproven in the industry, namely sedimentary and DLE resources, which rose 57% and 13% y/y respectively.
