September equity round-up
Global equity markets recovered in September, with the S&P Global 1200 index up 2% and the Basic Materials index up 2%. The Global X Lithium & Battery Chain ETF was up 4%. Our Hard Rock lithium basket bounced back 3% after a 26% fall in August, although Western Australia's Hard Rock developers continued to be underperformers. Our Brine basket was down however. Our Cobalt basket was the best performer, up 12%, on re-stocking and price recovery in cobalt, while our Rare Earth basket also performed well.
