Strong month for EV sales; over 1m units in China
May was a strong month for global EV sales with over one million units sold in China, the highest European sales since December and continuing great performance from Rest of the World. In China, sales were 1.02m units, up 18% y/y and now up 24% for the YTD. EREVs continue to be the fastest-growing technology, with 116K units sold for the month, or 11% of total sales.
