Trump administration active in critical raw materials
The Trump administration has agreed to fast-track 10 mining projects, including three lithium projects, as part of its FAST-41 programme. These include Albemarle’s Silver Peak mine in Nevada, Jindalee’s McDermitt sedimentary project in Oregon and Standard Lithium’s Southwest Arkansas brine project. The news came as the President ordered a probe into potential tariffs on all US critical minerals imports under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion act.
