UK second-hand EV demand hits new high
A report in The Times highlights that the price of second-hand electric cars in the UK has increased 14% in 2019 because of soaring demand for green vehicles, a shortage of new models and long waiting lists. Battery shortages are leading to waiting times of more than a year for some new models, including the Kia e-Niro and Hyundai Kona or Ioniq, while other manufacturers are reporting waiting times of 2-5 months.
