Ukraine wants to attract Li/Co developers
Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister, Volodymyr Omelyan, claims that Ukraine has the richest deposits of cobalt and lithium in Europe and that it can become a global centre for the production of batteries and EVs. Ukraine, not currently noted for its lithium and cobalt production, hopes to attractive investors. A strategy for the battery development in the country is currently in front of parliament.
