2022 was quite a year for battery materials. We saw two major squeezes in lithium, which led to the price nearly doubling over the course of the year (after rising over 4x the previous year), we saw graphite prices rising, nickel prices having the biggest squeeze in history, but cobalt and HP manganese sulphate prices down on the year.
