Xuxa FS recoveries more realistic
Sigma Lithium’s Feasibility Study for the Xuxa orebody at its Grota do Cirilo hard rock project in Brazil certainly stacks up well against the opposition. The orebody is spodumene-rich and yields a 6% Li2O concentrate on a coarse grind utilising only DMS and realising a 60.4% lithium recovery. While lithium recovery seems to be quite low compared to the levels targeted by the Western Australian hard rock developers, given the issues that these companies have had reaching their targeted recovery rates, this looks to us like a welcome case of conservatism.
